We are pleased to present our annual report. In 2021, Parent to Parent USA celebrated 15 years of supporting families of those with disabilities and special health care needs across the country.
Our 37 Alliance Member organizations continued to provide crucial support to families during a pandemic, training over 600 new volunteer Support Parents and facilitating over 14,000 one-to-one matches for parents in need.
Parent to Parent USA responded to the crisis by offering remote leadership development programs, providing trainings and opportunities for Parent to Parent staff to share best and promising practices to address the changing needs of families. Together, we reinforced our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, to ensure that Parent to Parent services are accessible to the many communities that make up the U.S. including Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
We hope you enjoy reading about our network’s collective impact and the partnerships that have been developed so that no parent feels alone, ever.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and ideas for collaborations, events, and more! Please feel free to reach out to our Co Executive Directors, Lily Brown and Marsha Quinn.
