How often do you meet families who desperately want to be involved in their child’s education? How often do you meet educators who want to partner with families, but don’t know where to begin?

This 60-minute session will showcase practices and resources intended to meaningfully and equitably engage families within their child’s education and enhance opportunities for teaming and collaboration.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore resources based on the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) Recommended Practices that have been designed specifically to support families of children birth through five with disabilities or at-risk-for-developmental delays. These resources (https://ectacenter.org/decrp/) are available at no-cost and address a range of topics that Parent to Parent staff encounter during their daily work to support families.

Participants will leave the session with access to free resources designed specifically to support family participation within Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education Services.
