Every year, Parent to Parent USA conducts a survey of its Alliance Member organizations to learn more about the programs and services they provide.
We collect data about each organization, how they are funded and staffed, Referral and Match statistics, training methods, and materials they have to share.
This information is made available to Alliance Members, P2P Partners, and emerging Parent to Parent programs receiving technical support from Parent to Parent USA as part of our commitment to leadership within the Parent to Parent community and the peer support movement.
Our Alliance Members have a long history of providing hope and support to families. Among the key findings of the 2019 Parent to Parent USA survey:
- Parent to Parent staff speak 23 languages, allowing us to meet the needs of diverse communities;
- The most common diagnoses of children who families we serve are autism, Down syndrome, and other genetic conditions; and
- On average, Support and Referred Parents get in touch 2.6 times within the first two months of a match.
